An ultramodern funicular between Sierre and Crans-Montana
The town of Sierre is linked to the Haut-Plateau by an ultramodern funicular. The route, which is a little more than 4 km, with a 927 metre height difference, takes just 12 minutes, at a speed of 8 m/second. That 100 year-old line is considered as the longest in Europe. A 100 place car park is available under the departure station in Sierre.
